“Feelings of worth can flourish only in an atmosphere where individual differences are appreciated, mistakes are tolerated, communication is open, and rules are flexible- the kind of atmosphere that is found in a nurturing family.”

~ Virginia Satir, American author and psychotherapist

Atmosphere - it can make or break your graduate experience. It’s important that a program’s community of faculty, staff, and students creates an atmosphere that motivates you to study, to learn through trial and error, and to discuss your inquiries with faculty and peers.

One of the greatest attributes of the NYU Steinhardt DPT Program is the diversity of its student body. Our program attracts students from all parts of the globe whose innovative perspectives enable them to learn from their interactions with their peers, as well as from our textbooks and hands-on clinical experiences!
