A large group of yoga

I began the study of iRest Yoga Nidra at Richard's Level I training in Maria Stein, Ohio in October 2008 and completed the Level III iRest Teacher Certification Program in June 2011. In June 2015, I became a Senior iRest Trainer. As a Clinical Psychologist, I utilize the teachings of iRest in my therapeutic work with individual adults and I also offer presentations of iRest to other mental health clinicians as a tool for self-care.

As a clinician, I have found iRest to be an amazing tool to help clients and students address issues such as anxiety and depression, relationship difficulties, insomnia, and finding meaning in life. It has allowed my clients to experience their own inner voice and deepen their trust for their own wisdom in navigating life's challenges. For myself, this practice has allowed me to experience more self-compassion and has opened the doorway to the abundance of joy that has always existed within.

My own experience of learning and teaching iRest is that our understanding of these teachings, the nature of Reality, and the Truth of who we are continues to unfold, expand and integrate naturally, effortlessly and joyously. All that is required is showing up!

I have had the pleasure of teaching iRest classes and workshops to active duty military and veterans, yoga students & teachers, and other mental health practitioners. I am currently offering classes in Honolulu at Sun Yoga Hawaii .
Please feel free to contact me if you have interest in private sessions, classes, workshops or retreats.
