Cancer affects more than just your physical health. It also can take a toll on you psychologically and spiritually. Studies have suggested that addressing your psychological and spiritual health can help in the preventive and recovery process from cancer and other diseases.

That's why we developed our comprehensive Body, Mind and Spirit Program. It features complementary therapies designed to relieve your symptoms, help alleviate your pain or side effects of standard treatments, and improve your overall physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. It also includes support and educational groups to provide information, encouragement and understanding when you need it most.

Your program may begin with a one-on-one consultation with a specialist who will assess your strengths and stresses. Then, working together, you will create a plan of care and identify which therapies will best suit your needs.

Creative Arts Lifetime Pass

We are proud to offer the Creative Arts Lifetime Pass to all of our patients. This pass is available to anyone who has ever had a cancer diagnosis, regardless of whether or not they are currently in treatment at the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center or another facility. Pass holders can participate in any of our Body, Mind and Spirit programs, completely free of charge.
