Balancing Energy Yoga Virginia

Katrina began practicing meditation and hatha yoga over 25 years ago to help balance the stress in her life. She stayed with the practice because it stirred within her the awareness and connectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. In 2009, she completed the RYT200 holistic yoga teacher training at Pure Prana in Alexandria, VA. The training opened up a much deeper awareness to the mind, body, and soul connection through movement and meditation.

Her interests also led her to study Therapeutic/Restorative Yoga with Cherie Clampett, Sat Nam Rasayan with Guru Dev and Eden Energy Medicine with Donna Eden. She is currently an Eden Energy Medicine Clinical Practitioner (EEM-CLP).

Katrina led the monthly book club at Radiance for several years leading discussions on numerous books such as The Mind by Yogi Bhajan, The Four Agreements by Paul Coelho, The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer, The Autobiography of a Yogi, by Parahamsa Yogananda. Among countless other books inspiring living true to one’s soul. She often incorporates concepts and ideas from those books in her classes and private sessions.

Katrina’s philosophy is that “life is hard enough”. We are meant to be happy, healthy, and holy. Everything is energy and working with balancing our own energies through a holistic approach including yoga, meditation and energy medicine brings a balance in countless ways to live our fullest life.

Katrina teaches Kundalini yoga and meditation, also known as the “yoga of awareness” and conducts energy balancing sessions. Katrina’s goal as a teacher and practitioner is to create the space for people to experience their true light within themselves.
