Vimala Ren Fields is the founder and director of the Fredericksburg Healing Arts & Yoga Center and the American Healing Arts Teacher Certification Program (Registered Yoga School (RYS) - 200 & 300). Ren is a certified E-RYT 500 Yoga Teacher, Yoga Therapist, Thai Yoga Massage Therapist and Eden Energy Medicine Certified Practitioner.

She began her study of yoga in 1965 and began teaching in 1975. Ren is an advanced yoga teacher and structural yoga therapist. She is an approved provider to the Integrative Medicine Program serving Mary Washington Hospital and works privately with students in Structural Yoga Therapy, Energy Medicine and Thai Yoga Massage.

JJ Gormley-Etchells is a Yoga Therapist and Holistic Healthcare Coach currently completing her Masters in Complementary and Alternative Medicine. She has studied yoga since 1979. JJ began teaching yoga in 1989 and teaching teachers in 1994. She has directed teacher training programs at many locations across the United States. Her Surya Chandra Healing Yoga School is a Yoga Alliance Registered School for 200-Hour, 300-Hour, Prenatal and Yoga for Children Programs (RYS-200, RYS-300, RPYS and RCYS). Her Yoga Therapy Certificate Program is currently undergoing the accreditation process with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).

Eric "Sahaja" Hansenhas been studying yoga since 2008. He completed his RYT200 with Ren Fields and has extensive teaching experience. His love of yoga is revealed in his students' comments that he is kind, fun and assists students to find their very best physically and mentally. He also owns and operates an organic landscaping business locally.

Elizabeth Ritoli discovered yoga in 1974. After thirty-plus years of study, she completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training with Ren Fields. Along the way she played music, sewed costumes, hiked the Appalachian Trail, raised chickens, kept bees, kayaked the Virginia rivers, became a licensed massage therapist and taught massage and yoga classes. In 2013, she became an adjunct faculty member at Himalayan Institute where she teaches Ayurvedic cooking and Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist workshops. Her educational pursuits include studying Living Tantra at the Himalayan Institute with Pandit Rajmani Tigunait. She is currently in her second year of the Ayurvedic Graduate Program at Kripalu School of Ayurveda.
