History

Established in 2011.

The second location for Green Lotus Yoga & Healing center, our Mendota Heights location anchors the retail area at the Village shopping center located on the intersection of 110 and Dodd Road near West St. Paul. Summer concerts in the Market Square, eclectic retail and restaurants surround Green Lotus.

We opened in November, 2011 with a full complement of healers and classes. While our Sun Studio has room for 25+ students and our Moon Studio comfortably fits 15-20, our classes are intimate and often modified to fit our individual students' needs. We have seven healing rooms offering chiropractic, acupuncture, nutritional counseling, and many styles of massage and energy and holistic healing.

Meet the Manager

Maureen's yoga classes are gentle, meditative, back-friendly, and yummy. She has been studying yoga for over 20 years, and her approach to yoga is gentle and honors the light within each of us. She emphasizes breath and alignment in her classes with an easy-going, calming style.

In Maureen's Yin classes, you will learn about acupressure you can do yourself, Chinese medicine wisdom that relates to yoga, organ and energy meridian theories, your inherent connection to mother nature and the seasons, and the natural cycles of life.

Maureen's Gentle and Hatha classes are appropriate for all students. A wide variety of asana (poses) and pranayama (mindful breathing) techniques are shared. Other topics you might encounter in her classes include: mantra, chakras, guided visualizations, Ayurvedic wisdom, hindu and tantric philosophy, and love as a religion. :)
