
- Lori Abbott, BSW
Lori is the Front Office Coordinator at CAPS. Although primarily located at the Jacobs House, Lori oversees front office responsibilities at both CAPS locations. Lori also assists with case management responsibilities and serves on the CAPS leadership team. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at UVM and is now enrolled in classes at the Counseling Department at UVM. Lori has been with CAPS for ten years and is committed in assisting and supporting students and parents with questions, concerns or any other information that is needed to help assure an easy transition to our services.
- Keiba Bragg-Best, MS
Keiba is a Staff Counselor at CAPS at Jacob's House. She earned her B.S. in Psychology at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and minored in Deaf Studies and Women's Studies. She earned her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Vermont. She is currently working toward licensure as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
In her work with clients, Keiba is dedicated to seeing people holistically. She firmly believes that we all hold multiple identities that make up who we are—which can not be compartmentalized. She is dedicated to supporting students and a creating space for all. Her professional interests include serving under-served/marginalized populations, race and ethnicity, women's issues, college student development, identity development and trauma.
- Vicky Brucia
Vicky Brucia can be found at the CAPS front desk at either Jacobs House or the Redstone office. After graduating from the College of the Holy Cross, Vicky worked for many years in the printing and publishing industry before entering the world of medical billing. Her training in conflict resolution and mediation support her strong ability to manage the office’s daily operations and student interactions. A native New Yorker who has lived half her life in Vermont, Vicky shares her home with her husband and their wonderful rescue dog from Puerto Rico.
