About Ashley

My experience as a marathon runner and a triathlete provided me with insight into being physically exhausted and sore as I continue to train to this day. After understanding the physical toll a body takes through repetitive training it came time for me to explore the merits of deep tissue therapeutic massage.

I am a professional massage therapist specializing in deep tissue massage therapy. After graduating from Eastern Michigan University and receiving in-depth training at the Detroit Medical Center for hip and knee rehabilitation I decided to branch out on my own in January of 2011.

My real passion is relieving people of those nagging aches and pains that are associated with stress or repetition from physical activity through work or play. Discovering who you are and what you need to leave Tocca Massage Therapy feeling better than when you came is why I do this.

Massage Therapist Howell, MI KrisAbout Kris

Growing up with a mother that has had rheumatoid arthritis since she was 17 really taught me to value health and the human body. Her need to find some kind of comfort and pain relief pushed me into exploring massage therapy. Now my motto in life is to take care of myself and make others feel healthy.

It’s amazing for me to witness daily the many benefits of massage. From body maintenance to actually helping someone avoid having surgery. For many people their aches and pains are actually a matter of getting in and relieving trigger points in the muscle. Did you know that bone spurs are actually caused from the tendon or ligament attachment to the bone pulling from being tight? This force actually causes the bone to grow where the pulling is. I am trained in various kinds of massage: Myofascial, Neuromuscular, Swedish, Prenatal, Hot Stone and TMJ release. I have actually hit the milestone of practicing massage over 10 years now!

About Nick

Hi, my name is Nicholas Podgorski. I completed my training at Health Enrichment Center Therapeutic Massage in 2008, where I had extensive training in Sports massage, Deep Tissue massage, Therapeutic massage, Lymphatic Drain massage, and Prenatal massage.

During my time at HEC, I received hands on internship training with the Detroit Lions, UM Swim Team, the VA Hospital in Detroit, and Genesys Hospice Care Center. Through these amazing experiences I got to do what I love and am passionate about, which is working one-on-one with my clients to meet every wellness goal, whether it be the everyday aches and pains or recovery from sports related injuries.
